O’ PPC Brother Where Are Thou?

Well it’s been a really busy week and I’ve been sick like a dog. Check out the weather here, it’s been like this for 2 weeks. Oy!

At least it’s sunny. We’re going back to the caribbean next winter. Guaranteed. (more on that later)

In addition to being sick I had a presentation yesterday at the Explore Minnesota Tourism Conference. Exploreminnesota.com is a sweet domain and they have some nice user generated content modules that are being implemented this year. I enjoyed meeting all the people there.

My presentation covered identifying revenue goals, setting up google analytics, and mapping out content to drive traffic. I think it went well. I didn’t get booed off the stage and no one threw anything at me, a ‘la the blues brothers. If you were at the conference and need to download my presentation please send me a message via the contact page.

I’ll be back on my posting schedule tomorrow after I get caught up.

Hasta.

-8 is very very cold. Come on over to Idaho. It’s a balmy 5 degrees right now – two days ago it was -40 degrees with wind chill (-20 something without wind chill). :) Almost ready to put on my shorts – but I’m a search marketer so that would be scary during ANY time of the year.

    Jeff,

I heard your presentation at the EMT Conference and thought it was one of the most useful there. In fact, it was one of the most useful I’ve heard on SEO and Web 2.0. From your comments on Google Analytics to breadcrumbs to SEO Digger, Google’s free site maps tool and the simple tip on anchor text linking (not “here”), I learned a great deal. Thanks for helping to make the conference such a success.

    Dave,

Thanks for the feedback! I really enjoyed the show. I’ll be sure to bookmark your site for some ideas on trips up north when the weather warms up.

James, I was about to take you up on your offer, but it’s supposed to hit 20 deg. today. No need to go anywhere, it’s a heatwave!
